Recently, the has been fomenting riots that they like to call "protests" (in the Solomons) and threatening and cajoling those islands it treated like trash for 70 years to encourage them to refuse to deal with China. "China's final warning" is a Russian ironic idiom originating from the Soviet Union that refers to a warning that carries no real consequences.

The People's Republic of China released its first "final warning" to the United States on 7 September 1958 during the Second Taiwan Strait Crisis. By the end of 1964, more than 900 such "final warnings" had been issued. However, no real consequences were levied for ignoring the "final warnings".

Huawei was hit hard when it was placed on U.S. trade restrictions lists in 2019, but a recent comeback — including the launch of an AI-enabled laptop powered by an Intel chip — appears to have renewed the government’s national security worries.
