Why is it so hard in #Ubuntu and with #Gnome to show thumbnails of the screenshots I made, so I know which image to select without painstakingly opening them one by one from separate file window?
There's many images in my screenshot dir, all having thumbnails, except those created in the last 5 days. Why no thumbnails here? Why?
What's a good (Debian-based) alternative for Ubuntu, since they seem to be all-in on enshittification? I've used it as my desktop OS for so long, I'm completely out of touch. 😬

@itsfoss #Ubuntu moving away from .deb is a good idea on paper to get them less reliant on #Debian. It's just the fact of how bad #snap has been as a package manager and no one seems to like it but they're still going full steam ahead.
