My treasure

A webcomic in four panels (no speech bubble) Panel 1: In a cave containing a treasure with a lot of gold, a young adventurer is chased by a monster: a treasure with big teeth. She drops all the gold items she had on her escape. Panel 2: While climbing a mountain of bones and skulls to reach the exit of the cave, the adventurer throws a bone to the monster. It is startled. Panel 3: Like a brave dog, the monster returns the bone to the adventurer, happy to start over. The adventurer has a think about it. Panel 4: Later, in a city, the adventurer walks proudly and happily with her new "dog" (the monster's treasure) on a leash. This one is a happy one.     you know what'd be a cool feature for an image editor?
    "export last action as code"

    where it looks at the last thing in the undo/redo buffer, and saves it out as a program (in C/C++/whateverscripting) that uses an ImageEditorLibrary to do the same thing

    @foone For some reason, I thought the GNU image manipulator could already do this. Maybe it was just the UI focus on playing scripts last time I used it. (I use for what little image editing I do for a while now.)

    Morning routine

    Panel 1: Pepper sleeps in a cozy bed, her haircut is clumsy, she is slightly irritated. It's early morning. She is surrounded with spell books, an alarm clock, carrot is also on the bed. > SoundFx (alarm): Ring! Ring! Ring! Panel 2: Pepper walks in the stairs like a zombie in her nightdress. A gentle cloud of flavor guide her. Panel 3. Still foggy, she is ready jumps on a DIY wooden hook of a swimming pool, many books are arranged under to make it like a stair. The smell comes clearly underneath her. Panel 4. She barely floats face downward, on a huge cup of coffee. Carrot watches surprised on the top of the plank. > Pepper: BLOOP BLOOP BLOOP BLOOP.

    A visual test for font, the character (a cute dragonish warrior with pink hair) says: Thank you For your feedback on my previous post. I forked 'Patrick Hand' and used it to customize my own font called deevadhand. It should be easily readable. Except if I mumble in a 14px size font, or worst in a 12px size font, hi hi. Then, the page list specifications of both fonts, with an alphabet.

    Out of a whim, I decided to get my 10 year old 13HD Companion Hybrid out of storage. no longer supports this model, but I got it to run with their oldest driver that supports Windows 11.

    I'm not sure what I will use it for, but it was fun trying out the different brushes with . These days I use for most of my graphical design work, but it's nice to have options.

    A video made with the Krita recorder of a character design (anime, fantasy themed) done into 1h. This is accelerated 120 times so the one hour brush strokes appear in 30 seconds.

    I learned this morning of the passing of Akira Toriyama, the father of Dragon Ball, Dr. Slump, designer of Dragon Quest, Chrono Trigger. Also, probably the artist who influenced me the most when I started drawing. Here is an old fan art I drew of Arale. My heart is really heavy this morning...

    Also as a tribute to Toriyama, I would like to share the cameos and influences in my webcomic here (which are hidden or vague due to copyright reasons):

    1. You can find a Super Saiyan character doing the line in front of Saffron's house.

    4. Goku was born "Kakarot" (carrot), so now you know why my cat with long tail and eyes like young Goku is called "Carrot".
