In 1994, our puzzle game Clockwiser was released for Amiga (OCS and AGA), CD32 console, MS-DOS and Windows 3.1.

This is the 4-channel music our composer Ramon Braumuller made for a demo version that was included on magazine cover disks.

The tune is 109 kilobytes, including digitized instruments.

This is the first 4-channel in-game tune our composer Ramon Braumuller made.

We wanted the music to be calming, as there's time-based pressure to solve the puzzles.

Absolutely free in solidarity if that helps you to serenade the neighbours.

Despite my zero personal posts due to spoons , IRL, health, there is still a trickle of creative happening. New remixes for others out soon. Another in the Broke and Dirt series of sample and loops library releases. And more in the pipe.

- @SunRaUniverse at montreux, july '76. coincidentally, almost exactly concurrent with the previous don cherry session. but, maybe not coincidentally, also near the end of the arkestra's furthest-out period, before they headed for more inside orbits. not inside yet, though. sprawling full-spectrum 20+ member 2-drummer ensemble arrangements blowing apart & back again, led by sunny's powerful (& wonderfully recorded) & noisy starstuff . @vinylrecords

Today is a very special day for me.

My friend Greg over at Orange Tree Samples and I have been working for years (truly!) via my web studio @whitefusion on a new community platform called Preset Galaxy. 🚀

And I'm so thrilled to be announcing it publicly to the world.

, nerds, & mavens, this is for you! 🎛️🎹

I wrote all about it on the :

BUGGLES
The Age Of Plastic
1980 Canada pressing

Fun on a Sunday morning.

THAT song was (and still is) so big, that nobody ever really talks about how good the album is as a whole. It’s a super-fun slice of innovative & never disappoints whenever I put it on.

Trevor Horn had a magnificent career as a producer post-Buggles, but had this been the only thing he’d ever done, that’s a career enough in itself.
Love this album so much.

@hissquiet Has anyone told you about <https://fedi.directory/> yet? It's a great way to find new people. For example, people are listed here:

https://fedi.directory/tag/synth-music/

At the bottom of that page is a Gup.pe group that you might want to follow.

I'm setting up on PeerTube; here's another one of my compositions for MIDI keyboard, cello & percussion

The MIDI keyboard has DX7 E-PIANO 1 tuned to 19-EDO & glitchy "databending" samples. The cello has a wah pedal & small amp that feeds back with the cello's contact mic.

I frequently listen to 4-channel Commodore Amiga music modules from the 1980s and 1990s, with instruments consisting of short 8-bit sound samples.

One of my favorite Amiga composers from that era is Sami Järvinen, better known as Groo. I love his daring experiments, such as this Free Jazz style track called "Banana and Heaven".

I've been getting into eurorack synths recently, and the Unperson is one of the better YouTube channels I've found on the subject.

I suspect there's only a very small number of people in my audience who overlap with synth gear YouTube, but let me know if you have any other channels you'd recommend.

I got a new toy over the weekend: the Pittsburgh Modular Taiga! It's a bit like if you took the Cre8audio East Beast and West Pest and combined them, then threw in a bunch of extra things, like a preamp, a delay, and a third oscillator. I wasn't really planning on buying this, but I couldn't resist at the price I got it, so I guess I'm going to sell off the East Beast and West Pest.
