what exactly is stored locally? what data is extracted from that local data and sent to the company's servers? is that local data being backed somewhere?

No, the bad AI product ruined itself and its company. Just because someone created a business, found funding and created a thing doesn’t mean they should get instant recognition, and a pass for crappy stuff.

PSA: if anyone here (in or around North America) has not yet seen a total solar eclipse, the one coming up on April 8th may be the most convenient chance you’ll ever have. The zone of totality will pass through several major cities.

Absolutely unreal and unique phenomenon that's worth planning and going to some trouble to experience. The temperature suddenly drops. You are briefly in an area of night surrounded on all sides by day. The sun seems to drain the light out of the sky.

You should be in total control of your experience, so that control should include the ability to filter by anything you want (just like you can filter keywords or NSFW marked content right now if you choose to).
