Hey, vielleicht habt ihr es schon mitbekommen: Zusammen mit der ARD positionieren wir uns neu am Streaming-Markt und starten mit einer der größten Open-Source-Initiativen Deutschlands. "Streaming OS" heißt sie. "OS" steht für "Operating System". Heißt: ARD und ZDF stellen zentrale Komponenten ihrer beiden Streaming-Plattformen öffentlich bereit, also etwa Player, das Login-System, Empfehlungscode oder den Kern unseres Designsystems.

@kuketzblog #PiHole wurde schon öfter verlinkt, aber definitiv auch #TinyCheck, weil man damit ganz schnell, kurz und bequem den gesamten Traffic eines Mobilgeräts mitschneiden kann.
Wahlweise werden bedenkliche Verbindungen direkt als Warnung angezeigt (z.B. auch die zu meinem eigenen XMPP-Server), oder der Traffic lässt sich auf einen USB-Stick kopieren, um ihn genauer zu analysieren.

This is what happened to the #internet citc 2000, when #ads covered every single page like a plague of locusts. Your eyeball time was devalued.
Then, #Facebook basically devalued your personal information by making it normal to give all of it away.
Now Facebook wants $10 to remove ads, but not #tracking.
Fingerprinting-Testseiten suggerieren oft, dass man eindeutig erkennbar ist. Das ist allerdings nicht entscheidend, sondern ob man über Surf-Sessions hinweg wiedererkennbar/verfolgbar ist. Der Tor-Browser, Mull oder auch Brave schneiden hierbei gut ab. Am Ende gilt aber auch: Lasst euch nicht verrückt machen. 😉

Soofa tries hard to convince people there is no threat because THEY don't share with 3rd parties, but only turn the information over to the municipalities.

In Android 14 solltet ihr folgende Einstellungen vornehmen. Erreichbar über »Einstellungen -> Google -> Anzeigen«. Unter anderem kann nun die Google Advertising-ID komplett entfernt werden. Kombiniert die Einstellungen dann noch mit einer App wie AdAway. 👇
