Look, I really like the HappyConsoleGsmer channel but titling your video “overrated games” with covers of Pokemon and Sonic 1 crossed out and then starting the video with “put away your pitchforks” while wanting to talk about why these games are “overhyped”does not compute.
You know exactly what you’re doing when putting out a video like this and how it’s gone get a ton of clicks, no matter how you try to spin it.
@Dennis5891 I adore Alien Storm till this very say.
Such a very simple game, but just insanely fun to play.
I would gladly pay full price for an arcade perfect port of this…
Thinking of other MD gems, I adored Shadow Dancer. Again, my favourite in the series despite how I can see that on an objective level Shinobi 3 would be better.
"My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I'm disgusted. I was disgusted then when I did it. I'm disgusted now," says Sean "Diddy" Combs two days after the release of hotel surveillance video showing him attacking his ex-girlfriend. https://www.instagram.com/p/C7J4iUFRGUk/
A march by Edgar Elgar is the traditional soundtrack for American college commencements and high school graduations. It’s a stirring bit of music, but perhaps an odd choice, given its roots as a celebration of the British king.
So, hey, I just finished writing a novel. If you want to know what it's called and what it's about (and when it will be out), just follow this handy-dandy link right here:
Journalists are still actively participating at exTwitter, thereby actively supporting Musk, who is helping extremists bring down democracy and, by extension, a free press.
Reddit got away with stomping its volunteer moderators and users, and its execs are cashing in on an IPO that in a more just world would have flopped.
Writers I respect decided to stick with Substack despite arrogant, extremist-friendly investors and leadership.
It's behavioral stickiness, in my view. If I had a substack with subscribers, it would be heckin hard to get me to go to the trouble of switching. too technical, probably need some support (where's that gonna come from), etc. It's hard without a doubt.
for the journalists still on twitter, that's just really sad. they must get their endorphins, I suppose.
Just 4 episodes into Shogun and I’m so glad to be able to say that without any shadow of a doubt, all my misgivings and fears about this series have been put to rest.
I was afraid that it would fall into the same trap as something like The Last Samurai, but that’s not the case at all. The opposite in fact.
Terrific story do far, beautifully shot and wonderfully acted.
If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend you give it a chance.
BREAKING: A student occupation has sprung up at Drexel University in Philadelphia after a pro-Palestine march earlier today - Philly PD barricades have surrounded the group “for everybody’s safety” and are not allowing anyone including press in reportedly by order of Drexel PD chief
Supporters arriving at the barricades aren’t allowed to enter by police but are still being allowed to pass food, coffee and other supplies over the fence. Many bags of groceries were just delivered
I’ve been at this for days and I suppose it’s time to ask for help for the community.
I really really really want to fundraise for charities or non-profits dedicated to the research and treatment of parasitic infections. (Like brainworms)
But I want you to feel confident I’m not just taking the money so I want to use a platform that just directly provides the funds. I can’t seem to find something that doesn’t want me to set up my own non-profit. Maybe I’m just a 🪱👇
I know I could just put a banner in the apparel shop I’m building (rfkjrbrainworm dot com) but I don’t want someone to just bank on my word that X amount of profits go to charity. I want everyone to feel confident it’s going to something good and not lining the pockets of someone who happened to make a parody account that got a little popular.
