Abby Martin's right. Netanyahu is the norm in Israel. There is hardly any "left" in Israel. Majority are rightwing.

My note: Israel is a fairly wealthy country. OECD: "In Israel, the average household net wealth is higher than the OECD average of USD 323 960." The wealth distribution is such that Israelis will like the status quo, will want to keep their money and privileges, hence the far right suits them well.
