One of my favourite "windows", one of my favourite views

A view of a lush green field under a partly cloudy sky, framed by the rustic brick opening of an old structure. The perspective is from inside the building, looking out at the expansive farmland, which stretches out to the horizon. The bright blue sky and the vibrant greenery create a serene and picturesque scene.

    I usually watch out of this window when I'm working, but here's how it looks from the outside.

    A view of a building window surrounded by a lush growth of flowering shrubs under a clear blue sky. The white blossoms contrast with the green leaves, climbing up towards the window which is slightly open, allowing a peek inside.     I've finished my Haddon Hall piece. I'm struggling with a name though. It depicts the highest window in an area called the Squinches. So something like Top of the Squinches, High Squinches? I need to think 🤔

    Hey!
    It's a Window Friday!

    A quaint, narrow cobblestone street lined with traditional European-style buildings. One building has a warm yellow facade, and a dog is poking its head out from a wrought-iron window balcony, looking down the street. There is a row of parked cars on the side of the street, and a single red car stands out among them. A vintage-looking street lamp is attached to the building with the dog. The sky is blue with some scattered clouds, suggesting a sunny day.

    Italian Windows

    Today's offering for is a bit of a mystery. This is a... contraption sticking out of a window that I walked past a couple of times before it retracted/disappeared. Anybody have guesses more educated than mine?

    View of the same window from below. The inside of the window has been sealed with cardboard. Two holes have been cut in the cardboard, and from each extends a cylindrical bag that is tied a few feet from the window. It appears to be purpose-made, and includes a few vent slits near the end. I guess this is a way to achieve some kind of controlled ventillation? Bueller??

    Window's phone

    France, 2012

    This photo shows a vintage-style window partially obscured by green ivy. The window is white with multiple panes and one can see the reflection of the sky in the glass. There's an old-fashioned yellow rotary telephone with a black cord hanging off the window sill, adding a touch of whimsy to the scene.
