The extent to which the worship of Baal and Asherah affected Israel’s understanding of Yahweh is seen in the inscriptions found at Kuntillet Ajrud. Jezebel was not fully responsible for the ongoing worship of Canaanite deities in Israel and Judah but her reign gave legitimacy to the long held tendency.

This is just a reminder that, in 1631, Robert Barker in London misprinted a famous line of the Holy Bible, namely „Thou shalt commit adultery“.

The forbidden copies with the famous slip sold well, and a few survived in our catalogues. The edition was called the Wicked Bible afterwards.

"... the new testament clearly sets Easter in a traditional context with pessach ..."

The New Testament says no such thing. Easter is a pagan holy day that merely coincides with the unleavened bread in some years. Easter is a very ancient rite of the solar worship cults. And the New Covenant commands no observance of any holy days, and in fact states as a commandment not to burden any brother to observe any holy day or feast:

Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.

Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand [.....]

One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

                          • - - - (Romans 14)

Easter is the holy day of idolators. The New Covenant says we are not to regard the holy days of idols. The Apostles warn us repeatedly to abstain from idolatry and, 'flee fornication' which means spiritual fornication with false gods. The New Covenant says that whether or not one wishes to regard the holy days of Moses is a personal matter and one should not be judged on account of this, since the law of Moses is passing away and giving way to a new law of the Spirit rather than the letter.

The Church lies about Easter. The Bible itself tells us all about Easter. It is the worship of the god-man Tammuz AKA Horus, and his Mother Ishtar, AKA Isis.

Easter has NOTHING to do with passover. That is just a lie told by the apostate church religion. It merely coincides with Passover in some years. Rome has tried to change the calendar to try to make the various days of Easter and Passover coincide as much as possible:

"And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time."

"... change times and laws ..."

Ezekiel chapter eight prophesied this idolatry of the Church:

"Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the LORD's house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.

Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these.

And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD's house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.

"... they worshipped the sun toward the east ..."

That is your Easter sunrise service right there. This is the truth about the Easter sunrise Mass. It is idolatry, and God hates it, and God calls it an abomination.

To see what the Bible says about Easter, and how the Church is lying to you, read this article:

Easter is Devil Worship. Easter is a Celebration of the Anti-Christ.

Just how did I become the religion and theology nerd we all know and love? Good question. I will spend some time explaining this at some length. It will take a handful of long posts. Buckle in! 👇🏽

I was born in Mexico in a nominally Catholic household. This meant I was baptized in the Roman Catholic Church. I went to catechism class, memorized the creed and the traditional prayers Catholics are supposed to know. Once I was eight or nine, having been confirmed, my religious life essentially ended.

My father has always been an agnostic. He is very much interested in the study of religion, and loves to talk about it, but he does not practice it. Nor does he believe. He thinks he is too rational a man to engage in religious trifles.

My earliest memories of my mother include her singing church songs while cooking and doing various house chores in the house. Over time her religiosity all but disappeared. There are various reason for this, but I'm sure the main reason is my father's agnosticism, complete lack of private religious practice, and his nonexistent church attendance.

My parents had me baptized, took me to church for a few years, and then, once I went through the rite of confirmation, essentially left me to figure things out when it came to matters of faith.

When I was in 10th grade, my family moved to Los Angeles. It took me about two years to learn English and pass written, oral, and listening exams in high school to prove I was as proficient in English as students born and educated from birth here in the U.S.

In my senior year, I took a year long course (Advanced Placement Spanish Literature) where religion reentered my life. We studied a number of Latin American & Spanish authors over the course of the year: Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Jorge Luis Borges, Federico Garcia Lorca, the existentialist writer Miguel de Unamuno, and many others. It was while reading Unamuno's works that I decided to read the Bible. My reason for this was purely academic. After reading a couple of his books, I soon realized that I would have understood them much better if I had been schooled in the basics of Christianity and the contents of the New Testament. While discussing his works in class, many of my classmates were able to make all sorts of connections between his works and the basic facts and beliefs of Christianity, as found in the New Testament. Being Catholic, reading the Bible had never been a priority for me. Because of Unamuno, I was inspired to buy my own bible and began to read it.

I had a very happy, joyful childhood. I especially loved Middle School. I had so much fun. I was so carefree. I had no anxiety. No worries. I absolutely lived in the moment in those three years. Once I went to high school and moved to Los Angeles, things changed. I was initially depressed because I was essentially forced by my parents to leave my home land behind: my culture, my friends, even my language. All of a sudden I found myself in this foreign land. I understood no one, unless they spoke in Spanish to me. It was a culture shock that took time to recover from and adapt to. But there was more to it than that. The last year and a half of high school were a time of deep sadness, depression, existential angst, and meaninglessness.

During this time I found life to be essentially meaningless. Not unlike Qoheleth, I too found everything under the sun to be profoundly meaningless and vain. I even had suicidal ideation, but never went on to make a suicide plan, as I could not bear the thought of the trauma I would inflict upon my mother were I to give up on life like that.

I graduated from high school. My school had about 3,500 students. I graduated with honors. I was one of top 50 students. Many of my teachers praised my intelligence, and assured me that I was well-equipped for greatness. I graduated in 1998. I was seventeen years and nine months. I usually took classes during the summer, but there was nothing for me to take now that I had graduated and had already been accepted to the university I chose to continue my education in.

I watched a lot of TV that Summer. While changing the channels, I discovered (to my great amusement) that there was such a thing as Christian television! 😅

The name of the channel/network was TBN, Trinity Broadcasting Network. The channel featured people singing worship songs, preachers teaching the Bible, and similar programming for children. It was all very strange to me as I had never experienced, seen or heard anything other than Catholic Christianity. It was easy for me to mock and dismiss much of the nonsense I ended up watching there, but there was one thing that gripped me: TBN showed me that it was indeed possible to worship the Lord and to do so joyfully. The preachers and believers there, if nothing else, sure seem to be enjoying their Christianity. This is something I had (sadly) never seen nor thought possible. The joy of the Lord did seem to be their strength.

I had nothing better to do that Summer, so I kept watching the religious channel and came to enjoy many of the programs there. I started reading the Bible. I even called the 1 800 number to get saved! I had no idea you could get saved over the phone, or that salvation was as easy as saying some Sinner's Prayer! It seemed very strange to me, but I soon forgot about it. I only remembered about this when I got a certificate of salvation in the mail and some more biblical literature to help me grow spiritually. As a result of all this bible reading and church channel watching, I soon began to have thoughts about finding meaning in God. All of a sudden religion became comforting and exciting to me. Above all, religion made life meaningful to me once again. At some point in the first week of July in 1998, I actually prayed to God and declared that I was ready to follow Jesus and become a disciple! 👀😅

Red pill hell. A deep dive into devilology.

Is hell a place you go when you die? Or have you already died and gone to hell? What if you are literally in the realm of the dead right now? What if you ARE the dead? Are you merely a shadow, and not really alive?

What if the biological definition of "alive" is wrong, incomplete, false, and of no use to mankind? What if the popular conception of hell is unbiblical and really a savage superstition? What if hell is here, now? What if this current world is a prison for your corpse and the real "you" is asleep at the wheel?

Does a lake of fire and brimstone await your soul for endless torture? Or are you actually in the lake of fire and brimstone now, today? What if you are on fire and don't even know it?

When the old devil is handing out military medals to his army, many Christian pastors and celebrity preachers will get the gold medals.

This article is a short examination of the common false mythos beneath the religious dogma of hell and hellfire. Find out what the Bible really teaches about hell, devils, and damnation. Dear reader, you have likely never been exposed to these ideas before. Click the link:
