For our second spotlight we are shining a light on @gamingonlinux who keeps us informed with and .

Liam, we can’t imagine the without you. You add so much to the community and you never let the trolls take you down! We also love that your website adheres to the code of conduct.

Thank you for all your hard work! We hope to be reading your articles for many years to come!

A picture of an ancient scroll so you know what it says is important. You also know it's authentic because it has the always lovable Pug Face in the corner and has been stamped with the official royal Fediverse seal. It reads: FediPUG Code of Conduct. The conditions are as follows; If your Fediverse account A; Promotes your website and B; Said website promotes your presence on competing social media platforms then it must also promote your Fediverse account. Really, it’s just common sense.
A picture of CJ from Surfs up 2. He’s got a tattoo across his chest that says Linux Life! To the right are some screen caps from the Gaming on Linux website that is linked in their profile. It confirms that they help to promote the Fediverse by letting people know where to find them. The text reads; Does Liam from Gaming on Linux ever sleep? We like to imagine their stream of articles and posts are fueled by an unhealthy amount of both coffee and pints. Whatever the case may be, we are so happy that they are here! Liam adds so much to the community. In addition, they help to promote the Fediverse by linking to their Mastodon account on their website! We also love that the Mastodon logo is the first social link! If you have yet to hear of them and are interested in Linux or gaming then check out the website and consider giving Gaming on Linux a follow!
A gold trophy with a wooden base. Pug Face is peaking over the top. The trophy reads; FediPUG presents... Gaming on Linux #1. The words congratulations, follow, boost and “Linux Life” are scattered about. There is also a small box to the left that jokingly says the prestigious award is sponsored by Lennox, makers of home furnaces, solely because it sounds and looks similar to Linux. Us pugs have an intellectual sense of humor!

A coop PvE game for two dads and three sons?
A shooter, preferably. Any recommendations, guys? The youngest lad is 10, so as little violence as possible. Thanks 😉

I finally managed to launch my first nuke in Fallout 76!

It only took like 2 hours of dying and confusion because there's no clear instructions....but it was successful nonetheless!😬😅

Running out of things to do now🤣might wait until the new season drops to continue my expedition grind because apparently a new Atlantic City expedition is releasing alongside the new season...

Also, does anyone know if the daily stamps for the first expedition applies to each expedition individually or if it's for all expeditions overall? Basically if I do all 4 expeditions in 1 day, will I get 20x4 stamps?🤔

@schamppu 's -inspired entitled is so cool.

I just started today, and even though the is only in closed beta, and the features are basic, the concept and mechanics are different from the other fitness gamification apps I've played/playing.

It did capture the feels of an and combined it with fitness.

Again, I'm just a newbie, only started today. I haven't thoroughly explored the game. I just walked.

You don't even need to run the app in the background, it will collect the steps your phone recorded the next time you open the game.

Features I'm waiting for (not sure if it's planned, again, I'm a new player):

    1. Sync with Google Fit or Health Connect. This way we can use the "steps" from our sports watch instead of the phone. I think it's also easier since the Dev doesn't have to add support for Product X and Service Z.

Health Connect is good for those who prefer privacy, as Health Connect stays in the unit (unless the user syncs it with Fit or other apps).

Google Fit is, well, cloud-based. (Then again, most sports watch users are using their brand's cloud-based service anyway, and are more likely sync'd to Fit. 😆)

    1. Guilds/clans. Because why not? Hehe.

    2. Quests/missions.

It might be possible to add quests wherein even if we're not moving (like those in work-from-home), we can do something. Nothing game changing, because again, you have to move move move!

Of course, the majority of the quests require moving.

    1. More races!

    Elf
    Half-elf
    Dwarves
    Vampires

I dunno, any race that no one can claim copyright is good. (I mean, we can't use kinder because that's DragonLance.) And each race has some pros and cons.

    1. Foes?

Say, during a game event, we have to, for example, collect 10,000 steps in a week to ensure we are ahead of an enemy chasing us? If we fail, there's a penalty.

And the story of the event moves forward depending on the total steps of everyone in a kingdom.

Anyway. I see great potential in this game.

Oh. I'm very curious about the game lore.
