Ich denke, dass dieses Deaktivieren, das Sammeln von Daten nicht verhindert. Für mich sieht es nur danach aus, dass die Seite, die bei utiq anfragt, eben nur ein flag bekommt, dass der User keine personalisierte Werbung wünscht. Utiq wird aber weiterhin diese Anfragen zu einem Datensatz zusammenfassen.
Am Ende bekommt man eben statt personalisierter Werbung irgendeine Werbung angezeigt und utiq sammelt weiterhin die Daten, die dann nach nem Jahr aktiv werden wer nicht wiederspricht.
An alle: Deutsche Telekom, Orange, Telefónica und Vodafone Mobilfunknutzer: Widerspruch bei der Online-Werbeplattform Utiq einlegen - für ein Jahr gültig. 👇

Fingerprinting-Testseiten suggerieren oft, dass man eindeutig erkennbar ist. Das ist allerdings nicht entscheidend, sondern ob man über Surf-Sessions hinweg wiedererkennbar/verfolgbar ist. Der Tor-Browser, Mull oder auch Brave schneiden hierbei gut ab. Am Ende gilt aber auch: Lasst euch nicht verrückt machen. 😉
@kuketzblog Avoiding fingerprinting is a cat and mouse game, unfortunately. The Tor Browser comes the closest but captchas make life hell (though, the recent standardization effort on the "Privacy Pass Protocol" by Cloudflare and Apple should make those captchas unnecessary provided websites switch to using those).
As you walk by, "The sign collects a [cell phone] device’s unique address, which is encrypted before it’s sent back to Soofa, the company said. Soofa described the collection as “passive.”"
Soofa tries hard to convince people there is no threat because THEY don't share with 3rd parties, but only turn the information over to the municipalities.
Beyond that, though, they can't assure that governments won't share, nor can they vouch for how well municipalities will protect the data.
@Jerry Whilst concerning, iPhones and Android Devices generate a random MAC address in these circumstances for privacy reasons. (on some versions of Android you can turn this off)

Zu Fuß gehen als Lösung ist aber etwas engstirning. Da jeder wohl ein Handy bei sich trägt, geht das Problem hier doch noch (in viel größerem Maß) weiter…

Online-Tools zur Messung der Wirksamkeit von Ad-Blockern sind leider wenig praxistauglich und liefern in Kombination mit Browser-Add-ons oft irreführende Ergebnisse. Am besten verzichtet man auf sie und verlinkt sie auch nicht, da gerade Anfänger/Einsteiger davon irritiert werden könnten. Empfehlt stattdessen die Installation von uBlock Origin und anderen zuverlässigen Ad-Block-Lösungen. 👇

@kuketzblog Eigentlich brauchen die das okay von beiden Kommunikationspartnern. Auf die Art und Weise wie es gerade betrieben wird ist es meiner Meinung nach ein Verstoß gegen die deutsche Datenschutzverordnung.
