It's definitely not easy to be #OpenlyAutistic. Yes, publicly there's less discrimination today than 10+ years ago. But in work and applying for jobs, you cannot deny it still exists strongly.
So, I just learned that Season 02 of #Loki just premiered. I was only aware of #QuantumLeap. So, yeah, more Western shows to watch again instead of the usual #Kdrama#Cdrama and #Jdrama line-ups.
The #Converge prepaid #Internet#Surf2Sawa was finally setup and connected (after 3 months and multiple failed setup schedules). Now it's time to observer and review this service for the next XX days.
“Revolutionizing Justice: Participatory Verdicts in K-dramas”
Imagine a world where the power to decide a person’s guilt or innocence is no longer solely in the hands of the legal system but is instead placed directly into the hands of the public. This intriguing concept has been brought to life in two captivating K-drama TV series: The Devil Judge (악마판사) and The Killing Vote (국민사형투표). In a unique twist, both shows invite the public to cast their votes on the fate of the accused, evoking a sense of agency and empowerment that resonates deeply with the frustrations of the ordinary citizens.
I've had my share of being impersonated online, so if there is an "official" authentication system available, I take the opportunity (but not Twitter and Meta, they rejected me multiple times).
So, I guess before this week ended, there's something good that happened. It at least lifted my soul.
If I am not mistaken, before there was the #Civilization franchise, there was “Empire”. It was a fun game. There is #EmpireDeluxe available on #Steam, but I miss the DOS version that I played a lot.
Modern games today are usually limited to certain themes. If it's flight, it's flight. If it's tank, it's tank. If it's strategy, that's it. Carrier Command have it all.
I know, we can still play this today, however, what I miss with this game is the 2 player mode.
You just play with your friend and blast each other to friendly matches and laughter.
Being able to play 2P mode, face-to-face, is something that we have taken for granted, and now we're all just virtual avatars in online games (even online multiplayer games).
So, how about you?
Q: What are the five (5) video games from the 20th Century that you want to be able to play again today? And why?
You eventually reach the point when you just go to work because you need to, not because you enjoy it, nor do you have a passion for it.
You just learn to accept that the plans you had were probably not meant to be. Sure, some of it were your fault… but there are so many factors involved, the part where it is your fault is minimal once you take it all in.
You just look up on the horizon, or at the stars, thinking there is some version of you out there in the #multiverse who have a better life and living your dreams. It wasn't because you're unlucky, rather, it was the culmination of all the decisions you made and the circumstances thrown at you.
#NoRegrets. It is what it is. The only way forward is to accept it. Just work and live today, so you can continue to live tomorrow.
If you use a VPN, they won't be able to monitor you, and they won't be able to throttle your connections. (Unless you consumed your daily limit, or the signal is bad.)
Note: VPN, by itself, will not increase your connection speed. The reason it gets faster is that your ISP is already throttling you and routing your connections through their monitoring software, but a VPN bypasses most, if not all, of those.
For example. If I am not connected to a VPN, everything is slow. SSL certificates are incorrect—but browsers can't detect that it's using the ISP's certificates. There are URLs / IP addresses that are either too slow or inaccessible (even though they are not questionable).
But when I am behind a VPN, everything is fast and smooth.
Another example. If I am not connected to a VPN when playing Guild Wars 2, there are parts of the game (like news and Trading Post / Auction House) that fails to load. But if I play through a VPN, it works.
Lastly, VPNs will provide you increased #privacy and #security. So, that's a plus.
It wasn't exactly fixed. Just that, there are some sites that are now affected, and the initial sites I tested are now fine.
It's like switching to Wayland only changed which sites are hanging-up / crashing.
This time I can't open any of Amazon's websites, I can't use Google search (just for testing), and other sites.
Update:
First of all, thank you for the replies and suggestions! It helped! salute
Tried safe mode, everything works fine. But without safe mode (from a fresh reinstallation and profile) the issue keeps happening.
Tried disabling hardware acceleration, and the hang-up and crash took longer to occur.
I enabled Wayland in Pop!_OS 22.04 (since it's disabled by default) and switched to it, FF 116 b8 with hardware acceleration started to work smoothly. (Without hardware acceleration it's lagging.)
There probably is something that is no longer working fine between Firefox 116 b8 + libEGL + X11.
I guess it's time to move to Wayland.
PS Though I still can't open about:support. But, for now, everything else is working fine.
I can't even login to #Google. After entering my password, the tab just stops working. It stops interacting. No clicks, no tabbing, no arrow cursor.
I can't event open about:support it hangs.
I can't use #Facebook, eventually the tab will stop interacting. No clicks, no tabbing, no arrow cursor.
I can't watch videos on #YouTube. If the YT ads play first, it will get stuck there. If the actual video plays first, after a few seconds it will either get stuck at some frame, or just keep playing without any interaction (can't stop, etc.)
For more than ten years now, the label P-pop has become a terminology used to refer to a new genre of music. Often than not, it is used to mean the rising Philippine idol groups and also compared to OPM or Original Pilipino Music.
But what is it exactly? Is not P-pop Pilipino popular music by definition?
An Internet search for P-pop will give different definitions of it, what it covers, and what it represents. There are those who use it to mean the idol groups. There are articles written wherein it was used interchangeably with OPM. While there are also those who use it as an umbrella terminology for everything Filipino made. It can not all be correct, right?
Simple answer?
P-pop, or Pinoy Popular music, is all music composed or performed by a Filipino.
OPM, or Original Pilipino Music, is every original music composed by a Filipino.
